The house

Sunset Point sits on a tiered lot on Broadway Lake, ten minutes from downtown Anderson. The lake is 300 acres of calm water, good for pontoon rides, fishing and paddling. The dock comes with four kayaks (three single, one tandem), two paddleboards and a box of floats, so you don't need to haul anything. Inside, the living room looks straight out over the water, with a stone fireplace for cooler nights. Two bedrooms, two full baths, three beds, sleeps 7.

Outside

A covered deck with a fire pit table and a hot tub that runs year round. A second fire pit down the hill with Adirondack chairs. Hanging chairs on the lower deck. Parking for six to eight vehicles and room for a camper.

Getting there and around

10 minutes to downtown Anderson, 35 minutes to Clemson's Memorial Stadium, 35 minutes to downtown Greenville. GSP airport is about an hour. McFall's Landing, a quarter mile away, has a public boat ramp if you're bringing a boat. Pine Lakes Golf Club and J.R. Cash's on Broadway are a short boat ride across the lake.

Good to know

Pet friendly with a fee; tell us before you book. Self check-in with a keypad after 4 PM, checkout by 11 AM. Early check-in (1 PM) is $35 when the calendar allows. Pack and play, high chair and booster seat on request. The house is on septic, so only toilet paper goes down. No parties: the driveway has a Ring camera, and a party ends the reservation without a refund. Quiet after 10 PM.
